Job summary

Rainbow Centre in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Care Facilitator to support out-of-school-hours student care. You will provide high-quality care, learning opportunities and meaningful engagement to help students develop life skills, under the guidance of Centre Head and Senior Care Facilitators.

Qualifications

• Passionate about building a career in the social service sector.
• GCE 'N' Level/'O' Level/NITEC in related fields
• Good communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Only Singaporeans and Permanent Residents
• Prior experience may lead to appointment as Care Facilitator.

Responsibilities

• Provide High Quality Care and Nurturing Environment.
• Prepare materials and environments for planned activities meeting diverse needs.
• Maintain a clean, conducive environment for optimal engagement.
• Assist students, individually or in groups, with instructions and activities.
• Assist with health, medical, safety and daily living needs of students.
• Support centre head/therapist in supervising and implementing student behaviour plans.
• Facilitate holistic student development and build relationships with students.
• Encourage participation in diverse activities to discover interests and talents.
• Identify talents and promote learning experiences to nurture them.
• Assist with inventories of equipment, materials and supplies.
• Collaborate with allied professionals, families and others for development planning.
• Participate in organisational initiatives and events.
