Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Sr. Solutions Engineer in Singapore to independently lead technical engagements, from discovery and design to platform demonstrations.

You will own frontline customer relationships and partner with the Account Executive to grow Databricks adoption across data engineering, analytics, and ML workloads. You should be proficient in Python/SQL, experienced with at least one public cloud, and able to conduct live coding and architecture reviews during interviews.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data engineering, solutions architecture, technical pre-sales, or hands-on consulting.
• Bachelor's or Master's in CS, Engineering, or quantitative discipline.
• Business proficiency in Mandarin and experience with Greater China Region are required to enable collaboration with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Live coding is a required interview stage.

Responsibilities

• Independently lead technical discovery and solution design for customer workloads across data engineering, analytics, and ML.
• Build and deliver proofs-of-concept and live demos on the Databricks Platform.
• Own frontline technical relationships with customer engineers and data teams.
• Develop account-level technical strategies with the Account Executive to grow platform consumption.
• Articulate differentiators through hands-on demonstrations and customer conversations.
• Contribute reusable technical assets to the SA community.
