Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Sr. Solutions Engineer in Singapore to independently lead technical engagements, own discovery, design solutions, and deliver platform demos.

You will build PoCs, own frontline customer relationships, and collaborate with Account Executives to expand platform usage. You should have 4+ years in data engineering or related roles, be proficient in Python/SQL with live coding, and have hands-on experience on AWS/Azure/GCP with Spark/Delta Lake.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data engineering, solutions architecture, pre-sales, or hands-on consulting.
• Proficient in Python and SQL with production-ready code; live coding required.
• Experience designing data solutions on AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Working knowledge of distributed data systems (Spark, Delta Lake, or equivalents).
• Experience leading technical customer conversations (discovery, architecture reviews).

Responsibilities

• Lead technical engagements from discovery through solution design and live demos.
• Build proofs-of-concept and demos on the Databricks Platform to win technical decisions.
• Own frontline technical relationships with customer engineers and data teams.
• Develop account-level technical strategies with the Account Executive to grow usage.
• Articulate Databricks differentiation through hands-on demonstrations.
• Contribute reusable technical assets to the community.
