Job summary

Randstad Singapore is seeking a senior software engineering lead to drive the strategy, architecture, and end-to-end delivery of AI-driven applications and workflow automation platforms. You will actively write production code, perform technical design reviews, and mentor a compact engineering squad.

You will collaborate with business users to identify automation opportunities and iteratively deliver solutions, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless deployment

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with proven team guidance and delivery oversight.

• Spearhead the strategy, architecture, and complete delivery of AI-driven applications and workflow automation platforms.
• Act as a hands-on leader by actively writing production code, conducting technical design reviews, and mentoring a compact engineering squad.
• Collaborate closely with business users to identify automation opportunities and iterate on delivered solutions using operational feedback.
• Coordinate with internal business units and external technology vendors to ensure seamless integration and successful deployment of new tools.

Skills and experience required

• At least 7 years of software engineering experience, paired with a proven track record of guiding technical teams and managing complex delivery workstreams.
• Deep hands‑on proficiency utilizing modern programming languages, APIs, databases, and cloud computing frameworks.
• Full stack experience will be highly preferred
• Solid expertise in designing scalable architectures, establishing engineering standards, and executing rigorous technical reviews.
• Proven ability to engage directly with stakeholders to comprehend complex workflows and translate those business needs into viable technical solutions.
