Job summary

ST Engineering Advanced Networks & Sensors is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to design, build, and deploy production‑grade AI/ML solutions. You will work with product, software, data, and platform teams to translate complex needs into secure, reliable AI capabilities.

The role emphasizes MLOps, responsible AI governance, and scalable architectures, including LLM/RAG implementations, with opportunities to influence edge deployments and enterprise workflows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years delivering AI/ML, data science, or intelligent software solutions in production environments.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with solid software engineering practices.
• Experience building Generative AI/LLM solutions, including embeddings, vector search, RAG, and evaluation.
• Knowledge of APIs, MLOps, CI/CD, containers, monitoring, and cloud/on‑prem deployments.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and communicate complex concepts clearly.

We are seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to design, build, evaluate, deploy, and improve production-grade artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions. The role combines strong machine-learning expertise with sound software engineering, data, API, and MLOps practices. You will work with product, software, data, platform, cybersecurity, quality, and business teams to translate complex needs into secure, reliable, measurable, and maintainable AI capabilities.

AI/ML Solution Development

• Translate business needs into AI/ML solutions with clear objectives, success metrics, and delivery plans.
• Design, develop, fine-tune, and optimize ML, deep learning, and Generative AI solutions.
• Build LLM applications using RAG, tool/function calling, structured outputs, and agentic workflows.
• Develop reusable AI components, standards, and frameworks to accelerate delivery.
• Select practical, scalable solutions balancing performance, security, cost, and maintainability.

Data, Evaluation & Responsible AI

• Define data requirements and support data preparation, quality assurance, and governance.
• Establish evaluation frameworks covering accuracy, robustness, safety, reliability, and cost.
• Conduct testing, error analysis, and performance reviews to improve model outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with Responsible AI, privacy, cybersecurity, and governance requirements.
• Maintain documentation and audit evidence to support reviews and risk management.

Production Engineering & MLOps

• Deploy and manage AI solutions across cloud, on-premises, and edge environments.
• Build automated MLOps pipelines for training, deployment, monitoring, and retraining.
• Monitor model performance, drift, reliability, utilization, and costs.
• Integrate AI capabilities with enterprise systems and business workflows.
• Produce technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials.

Technical Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead solution design reviews and promote engineering best practices.
• Mentor team members and contribute to AI/ML standards and capability development.
• Communicate technical concepts, risks, and trade-offs to diverse stakeholders.
• Collaborate across business, product, data, and engineering teams to deliver outcomes.
• Stay current on AI, GenAI, MLOps, and AI governance trends and practices.

Qualities We Value

• Knowledge in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum5 years' experience delivering AI/ML, data science, or intelligent softwaresolutions in production environments
• Proven experience managing end-to-end AI/ML solution lifecycles, from design through deployment and optimization
• Strong Python and SQL skills with solid software engineering practices
• Hands‑on experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn
• Experience building Generative AI/LLM solutions, including embeddings, vector search, RAG, prompt engineering, and evaluation
• Knowledge of APIs, MLOps, CI/CD, containers, monitoring, and cloud/on‑premises deployments
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross‑functional teams
