Job summary

ALTROCKS TECH PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior software engineer with 10+ years of experience across languages and tools, including at least 3 years in leading a development team.

The role requires strong Java/J2EE knowledge and edge browsing architecture. You should be proficient with Java frameworks/SDK and TypeScript, and have experience with RDMS such as Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL or MongoDB, RESTful APIs, MVC/Hibernate, and JavaScript stacks (Angular/Knockout/Node.js).

Job description

• 10+ years work experience with the following languages and tools
• With minimum 3 years experiences leading the development team
• Good working knowledge in on Java/J2EE and/or Edge browsing Technologies in terms of architecture and design.
• Extensive experience with Java framework/SDK, TypeScripts and development tools.
• Strong Java development experience wth RDMS like oracle , mssql, mysql or mongoDB
• Strong understanding of development methodologies, testing practices, and tools and knowing when to apply each method to achieve the desired outcomes
• Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC, Api, MVC, hibernate)
• Client/Server scripting framework (JavaScript, angular.js, knockout.js, node.js)
• Knowledge of security standards and techniques for web applications
• Understand browser-specific compatibility issues
• Expertise in the design, implementation, and deployment of user-centric software, with focus on usability
• Certification in Java or equivalent
• Understanding and practicing Agile methodologies will be added advantages
• Familiar with Cloud application deployment such as (azure, aws or google cloud).
• Experience in React and java backend integration will be added advantages
