Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE and .NET.
• Experience with Java frameworks/SDKs and front-end or back-end development.
• Experience with RDMS like Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL; MongoDB considered beneficial.
• Familiarity with REST, MVC, Hibernate APIs and client/server scripting (JavaScript).
• Knowledge of security practices, testing, and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

Role Summary

The Java Developeris responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality business solution for the Company and its clients. The role includes on-site/off-site low level requirements gathering, understanding client's needs, and working with the architects or senior developers to come up with a viable IT solution.He/She will report to the Development team lead.

Responsibilities

• Work within project team to develop and test Web applications based on Javatechnologies.
• Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards.
• Assist senior developer(s) in analyzing and resolving technical issues.
• Assist in preparing manuals, specification and other technical documentations.
• Package and support deployment releases.
• Developing, refining, and tuning integrations between applications.
• Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, and estimates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in software development desired.
• Good working knowledge in Java/J2EE, .Net.
• Extensive experience with Java framework/SDK, front-end or back-end development.
• Strong Java development experience with RDMS like oracle or MSSQL, or mySQL, MongoDB.
• Good understanding of development methodologies, testing practices, and tools and knowing when to apply each method to achieve the desired outcomes.
• Excellent troubleshooting and effective oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC, Api, MVC, hibernate).
• Familiarity with Client/Server scripting framework (Javascript, angular.js, knockout.js, node.js, React js).
• Knowledge of security standards and techniques for web applications.
• Understand browser-specific compatibility issues.
• Expertise in the design, implementation, and deployment of user-centric software, with focus on usability.
• Certification in Java, React or equivalentdesired.
• Experience in deploying application on Cloud (AWS) will be added advantages.
• Understanding and practicing Agile methodologies will be added advantages.
• Experience in Java based mobile application development will be added advantages.
