Job summary

BuildBridge Partners Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to join a project-focused team within a reputable main contractor. You will manage quantity surveying and commercial matters, prepare tender documents and cost estimates, review subcontractor quotations, and handle progress claims, final accounts, and cost reporting.

Candidates should have a degree or diploma in QS or related discipline, relevant experience with a main contractor, and good knowledge of tendering,

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Relevant quantity surveying experience with a main contractor, preferably on building construction projects.
• Good knowledge of tendering, cost estimation, contract administration, variation claims and final accounts.
• Familiarity with construction contracts and local construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage quantity surveying and commercial matters for building construction projects.
• Prepare tender documents, cost estimates, bills of quantities and tender evaluations.
• Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Manage progress claims, variation orders, contractual claims and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs and budgets to ensure effective cost control.
• Prepare and submit progress payment claims and assess subcontractors' payment applications.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers on contractual and commercial matters.
• Assist with contract administration, cost reporting and commercial risk management.
• Maintain proper documentation of contractual correspondence, claims and project costs.
