Job summary

BD in Singapore seeks a Process Safety Engineer to lead site PSM, RMP and environmental compliance for high-hazard operations at the Tuas Plant. You will act as site SME for process safety and environmental engineering, supporting changes, new equipment, capital projects and operational readiness.

You will mentor Operations, Engineering, Maintenance and contractors on process safety principles, review P&IDs and safety data, and help close audit findings while ensuring regulatory compliance with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 3–5 years in EHS, process safety, plant engineering, or high-hazard manufacturing.
• Experience with PHA/HAZOP/LOPA and regulatory compliance in Singapore.
• Knowledge of WSH requirements and Singapore fire safety expectations.
• Ability to read P&IDs, PFDs and equipment datasheets; strong written skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain site PSM, RMP and environmental compliance programmes.
• Act as site SME for process safety and environmental engineering.
• Facilitate PHA/HAZOP reviews and close action recommendations.
• Manage MOC, PSSR, PSI, procedures and mechanical integrity interfaces.
• Support audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions; mentor teams.
