Job summary

Becton Dickinson seeks a Site Process Safety and Environmental Engineer to lead PSM, RMP and environmental compliance for a high-hazard manufacturing site in Singapore. You will coach operations and engineering teams, perform PHAs/HAZOP/LOPA, review P&IDs and PSI, and ensure regulatory readiness across BD's Singapore Tuas plant.

Strong background in chemical/process safety and regulatory knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Safety Engineering.
3–5 years in EHS, process safety or high-hazard manufacturing; experience in chemical/pharma/medical devices preferred.
Hands-on in facilitating PHA/HAZOP/What-If/LOPA; experience with MOC, PSSR, PSI, mechanical integrity and audits.

Responsibilities

Lead and maintain site PSM, RMP and environmental compliance programmes for high-hazard operations.
Act as site SME for process safety and environmental engineering, supporting changes, new equipment, and capital projects.
Lead Process Hazard Analyses (PHA/HAZOP/LOPA) and ensure closure of recommendations.
