Job summary

BD Singapore Tuas Plant is seeking a Process Engineer to support manufacturing excellence, drive productivity improvements, and translate engineering solutions into sustainable shopfloor gains.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering to analyze losses, manage validation activities, and ensure compliance with safety and ISO 14001 requirements while building a problem-solving culture on the shopfloor.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering, or related Engineering discipline.
• Experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive process and productivity improvements within the manufacturing unit.
• Implement and sustain BD Excellence work processes across operations.
• Analyze key manufacturing losses and improve OEE, productivity, and process performance.
• Lead and coordinate manufacturing improvement projects (planning, execution, implementation, follow-through).
• Manage engineering change and validation activities (change control, MSA, IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Develop and maintain Process FMEA, work instructions, validation protocols and manufacturing documents.
• Coordinate validation execution and train operators involved in validation activities.
• Coach manufacturing associates in continuous improvement and foster a problem-solving culture on the shopfloor.
• Support broader manufacturing/engineering projects to meet priorities.
• Ensure activities comply with safety, health, environmental and ISO 14001 requirements.
