Job summary

GMP Technologies in Singapore is seeking a Senior Process Safety Engineer to lead and manage process safety activities across our industrial operations, focusing on preventing major accidents and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will develop and implement safety management programs, conduct hazard analyses, lead PHAs (HAZOP/LOPA/QRA), support MOM MHI regulations, and provide technical guidance to engineering and operations teams to continuously improve SHE performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in oil, gas or petrochemical industries.
• At least 5 years in process safety with hazard identification and risk assessment.
• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering / Safety Engineering or related field.
• Expertise with PHAs, HAZOP, LOPA, QRA and safety tools.
• Deep knowledge of process safety regulations, codes and industry standards.
• Experience with PSM systems (OSHA PSM, API standards).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Lead terminals in PSM compliance per Singapore MHI regulations.
• Support SHE management systems and corporate standards.
• Improve process and personnel safety; provide governance of Safety Case.
• Conduct PHAs (HAZOP/LOPA/QRA) and ensure ALARP.
• Develop and deliver training on process safety procedures.
• Support incident investigations and follow-through on corrective actions.
