Job summary

Gateway Search is partnering with a leading global R&D and electronics manufacturer to appoint an R&D Lead Engineer, Motor System in Singapore. You will lead the development and integration of motor technologies, coordinate with internal and external partners, and present data-driven findings to stakeholders to drive feasible, market-ready solutions.

The role requires strong hands-on motor/electromechanical design experience and collaboration across global teams to ensure successful product

Qualifications

Master's or Bachelor's in Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering (or related).
5+ years of relevant experience delivering products to market.
Strong hands-on experience in motor/electromechanical design (AC, PMDC, or BLDC).
Experience with simulation tools and global supplier landscape.

Responsibilities

Lead investigation, development, and integration of new motor system technology.
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to assess feasibility.
Present data-driven findings to stakeholders on value, costs, and risks.
Collaborate with Global Product Marketing and Engineering to validate feasibility.
Progress solutions toward product readiness and support integration into designs.
