Job summary

The Vine Search Pte. Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to lead maintenance operations at our Boon Lay site. You will ensure peak plant performance by troubleshooting, scheduling activities, and supervising a team of technicians.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronics and have 2-3 years in heavy manufacturing, with strong IPC/PLC, hydraulics, and pneumatics knowledge. Transport from Jurong Point is provided for employees based in Boon Lay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in a heavy manufacturing environment
• Hands-on experience with automation systems - troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment
• Experience in steel manufacturing is a plus
• Strong knowledge of IPCs, PLC programming, drive control systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Able to perform well under pressure and respond promptly to maintenance issues
• Willing to work 5.5 days/week with overtime as needed
• Valid driving license preferred

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and carry out corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and keep equipment performing optimally
• Lead and supervise a team of technicians in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of plant machinery
• Plan and schedule maintenance activities to support safe, reliable, and efficient operations
• Manage spare parts inventory to ensure critical components are available when needed
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors for technical support, spare parts, and maintenance services
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to boost reliability and productivity
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and maintenance procedures
