new chettinad king pte. ltd. is seeking an experienced Head Chef to organize the kitchen’s activities, lead a team, and ensure high quality dishes before they reach customers.

You will oversee menu construction, staff hiring and training, equipment planning, and compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. The ideal candidate has proven head chef experience and strong leadership and culinary knowledge.

Formación

• Proven experience as Head Chef.
• Exceptional kitchen management ability.
• Ability to assign and monitor responsibilities.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of culinary trends and efficient kitchen processes.
• Proficient with MS Office, POS and restaurant software.
• Health and safety training credentials.
• Degree in Culinary science or related certificate.

Responsabilidades

• Control and direct the food preparation process and related activities.
• Construct menus with new or existing culinary creations, ensuring variety and quality.
• Approve and polish dishes before they reach customers.
• Plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to shortages.
• Arrange for repairs when necessary.
• Remedy any problems or defects.
• Be fully in charge of hiring, managing, and training kitchen staff.
• Oversee the work of subordinates.
• Estimate staff workload and compensations.
• Maintain payroll and attendance records.
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Foster cooperation and respect among coworkers.
