Job summary

Dyson is seeking a Lead iOS Engineer to join our mobile app team. This senior IC will own major areas of the iOS platform, drive complex feature development, and influence the technical direction.

You will work across product, design, QA, cloud, and embedded teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions, using MVVM, Clean Architecture, Swift, and modern iOS tooling.

The role requires leadership, mentoring, and a pragmatic delivery style, with focus on code quality and performance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience building and shipping iOS apps.
• Strong expertise in Swift and modern iOS architectures (MVVM, Clean Architecture).
• Experience with asynchronous programming (async/await, Combine).
• Proven experience owning features end-to-end from design to production.
• Ability to mentor other engineers and influence technical decisions.
• Comfortable with Agile teamwork and cross-team collaboration.
• Familiar with AI-powered developer tools to boost productivity.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver complex iOS features with scalability.
• Shape architectural decisions and collaborate with senior engineers.
• Write clean, well-tested code following modern iOS practices.
• Coordinate with product, design, QA, cloud, and embedded teams.
