Job summary

ST Engineering Singapore is seeking a Mechanical/Marine & Offshore engineer to deploy manpower and materials effectively, liaise with other departments on daily production schedules, and monitor progress against project milestones.

You will generate and review drawings, assess staff performance, identify training needs, ensure welding, NDT and class requirements are met, and lead safety and quality initiatives. Location: Benoi Road; island-wide transport provided.

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Marine & Offshore engineering.
Preferably 3–5 years of working experience in marine industry or similar capacity.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of welding methods, WPS/PQR and NDT methods.
Familiarity with class requirements and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Deploy and monitor manpower and material resources in the department; liaise with other departments on daily production schedules.
Generate and monitor drawings/technical information issuing schedules.
Attend project progress and HAT meetings; monitor job quality, progress, and productivity.
Assess staff performance and identify training needs; ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
Plan and execute to meet project schedules and department budgets; manage consumables for projects.
