Job summary

ALIGN RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to plan, monitor and execute oil & gas fabrication projects.

You will develop construction drawings, methodologies and calculations for site execution, and prepare MTO lists while coordinating with procurement and QA/QC to ensure safety and quality. The role requires drafting skills, HSE awareness, and familiarity with ISO 9001:2008 QA systems, with offshore/marine experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in oil & gas industry or fabrication environment preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 QA system.
• Drafting skill.

Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, and execute project activities.
• Develop construction drawings, methodologies, and engineering calculations for site execution.
• Prepare MTO lists and coordinate with procurement for vendor selection.
• Plan and arrange resources for project execution.
• Coordinate with QA/QC for inspection planning.
• Collaborate with production for fabrication processes and project progress.
• Coordinate with QA/QC and third-party inspectors.
• Ensure daily activities comply with HSE standards.
• Report project progress to stakeholders.
• Manage project site queries.

Responsibilities to plan, monitoring and execute project.

Develop construction drawing, construction methodology and procedures, engineering calculation and risk assessment for site execution.

Develop MTO (Material Take Off) list and coordinate with procurement team for the vendor selection.

Plan and arrange required resources for project execution

Work closely with QA/QC team for inspection plan

Work closely with production for fabrication process and project progress.

Coordinate with QA/QC team and third-party inspector

Ensure daily work activities incorporate with HSE standard

Report project progress to all stakeholders.

Manage project site query.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent
• Experience in oil & gas industry / preferable in fabrication environment
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 QA system
• Software - AutoCAD, MS Office
• Drafting skill
• Willing to go extra mile to meet customers' requirements
