Job summary

N S H MARINE ENGINEERING PTE LTD is seeking a mechanical supervisor to oversee engineering drawings, task assignment and project scheduling at our Singapore site. You will review drawings for changes, manage Leadmen, and drive fabrication quality across multiple projects.

Responsibilities include recruiting and guiding staff, training and monitoring performance, and planning work and equipment usage to meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review mechanical engineering drawings and refer issues requiring changes.
• Assign job tasks and work as per mechanical project schedules.
• Review all mechanical drawings with Leadmen performing on assigned jobs to them.
• Stimulate fabrication standards to ensure quality work attained from assigned staff.
• Recruit, guide, train, monitor and terminate assigned employees as required.
• Recommend effective solutions specified particular weight related to employment status of employees.
• Schedule, assign, plan and supervise mechanical shop personnel performance on different projects.
• Plan and prepare work and equipment usage schedule
