Job summary

AllwaysFirst is seeking a Senior Field Support Engineer to lead installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and upgrades of semiconductor test equipment at customer sites in Singapore. The role acts as the primary technical escalation point and mentors the FSE team.

Responsibilities include leading PM activities, coordinating repairs, and ensuring documentation accuracy and uptime during major downtime events. Bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical fields is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with semiconductor test equipment.
• Strong preventive maintenance and lifecycle management skills.
• Ability to read schematics and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and upgrades at customer sites.
• Serve as primary technical lead, escalation point, and mentor for FSE team.
• Oversee PM procedures, diagnostics, and instrument uptime during downtime events.
• Maintain service records and drive documentation improvements.
• Coordinate with engineering and customers during complex issues and tool-downs.
• Mentor FSEs and support onboarding and knowledge transfer.
