Job summary

AEM SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an engineer to provide front-line and field technical support for customers and field service engineers working on semiconductor equipment. The role covers escalations, fleet performance, installations, and upgrades across regions.

The successful candidate has an engineering degree, hands-on semiconductor experience, strong diagnostic abilities, and willingness to travel for on-site troubleshooting and upgrades.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent in mechanical, electrical or mechatronics.
• Experience with semiconductor equipment (front-end or back-end) preferred.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across regions/time zones.
• Strong communication with customers and internal teams.
• Willingness to travel onsite for troubleshooting/upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support related to customer/FSE escalations, fleet performance, and upgrades.
• Serve as field escalation focal point between customer and divisions, guiding field personnel.
• Support Alpha Site installation, operation, calibration, and testing of new hardware/software.
• Provide Beta Site support for new hardware/software/processes on customer tools.
• Initiate and review ECOs and communicate fixes to the field.
• Assist in creating documentation (CENs, BKMs) and present to customers; ensure field implementation.
