Job summary

AEM Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced technical support engineer to oversee field escalations and upgrades for semiconductor equipment. You will coordinate with customers and internal teams to diagnose and resolve complex issues across regions.

The role requires a relevant engineering degree, prior semiconductor equipment experience, and willingness to travel onsite for troubleshooting and upgrades. Excellent communication with customers is essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering education qualification (Mechanical /Electrical / Mechatronics or related field).
• Prior experience in Semiconductor Equipment (Front end or back end).
• Be the center to understand other regions' issues and able to effectively diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Able to travel onsite for troubleshooting / upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all technical support related aspects to customer/FSE: escalations, fleet performance, system installations improvement programs and upgrades.
• Intermediary and field escalation focal point between customer and Division, providing technical support and documentation for field engineers and technicians.
• Provides Alpha Site support to Engineering related to installation, operation, calibration, service and/or testing of new hardware, process or software design.
• Provides Beta Site Support; related to installation, operation, calibration, service and/or testing on a customer tool.
• Initiates and reviews ECOs to ensure data supports fix and communicates to the field.
• Supports generation of documentation such as CENs and BKMs; creates and reviews documentation on improvements, system upgrades, and support plans.
