Job summary

HTX is recruiting for Head, MLOps to lead the design, development and maintenance of secure end-to-end DevSecOps solutions within our enterprise AI platform. This hands-on leadership role sits at the intersection of systems engineering, applied ML and governance, delivering scalable workflows for officers across Home Team Departments.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve reference architecture for an enterprise agentic AI platform with governance, audit trails and reviewable workflows.
• Shift workloads from bespoke builds to a platform where officers describe needs in natural language and receive governed, repeatable workflows.
• Own roadmap and production operation of the LLM inference stack, including GPU utilisation, quantisation and latency optimisation across on‑prem clusters.
• Shape AI platform strategy to senior leadership, build business case, secure funding, and translate trends into actionable decisions.
• Grow the engineering team through hiring, onboarding and structured internship programs; define career paths and technical standards.
