Job summary

HTX, Singapore's science and technology agency, seeks a senior leader to drive software engineering, QA, DevSecOps and MLOps across product teams. The role requires hands-on expertise in ML/DL, cloud platforms, and Agile practices, guiding the team to deliver production-grade software for public safety applications.

You will lead engineering scope, define processes, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure reliable, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of relevant software engineering, QA or systems engineering experience, with at least 6 years hands-on.
• At least 3 years of Agile/ SCRUM experience.
• 3+ years designing, deploying and monitoring ML/DL solutions using Docker, Kubernetes or Kubeflow.
• 3+ years of cloud experience (AWS or Azure); GCC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the software engineering, QA and DevSecOps functions in product teams.
• Define engineering scope and oversee day-to-day development.
• Advise on software development approaches and trade-offs.
• Integrate software engineering, QA, DevSecOps and MLOps practices into development.
• Define and improve software development processes for reliability and maintainability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define features meeting business needs.
• Guide the team to produce production quality code and end-user delivery.
• Manage team resources and align with stakeholder expectations.
• Foster learning, experimentation and continuous improvement in the team.
• Stay abreast of new AI and software engineering practices to improve workflows.
