exyte singapore pte. ltd. invites a senior civil/structural engineer to lead design and technical coordination for industrial and high‑tech facility projects from concept through handover.

You will ensure design integrity, code compliance, constructability and quality, while mentoring engineers and coordinating multidisciplinary teams across Architecture, Process, BIM/VDC and Construction. Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with 10–15 years’ relevant experience is required;

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Typically 10-15 years of relevant civil and structural design and construction experience, including technical leadership responsibilities.
• Experience in industrial, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, data centre or other complex facility projects is preferred.
• Practical experience with piling, reinforced concrete, precast, structural steel and long-span structures.
• Professional Engineer registration or progress toward relevant professional accreditation is advantageous

Aufgaben

• Lead civil and structural design delivery, including reinforced concrete, structural steel, precast, foundations, substructures, superstructures and equipment-support structures.
• Review and approve design calculations, drawings, specifications and technical deliverables for accuracy, constructability and compliance with applicable codes, standards and client requirements.
• Plan and coordinate Civil & Structural activities across concept, basic and detailed design, tender, construction, commissioning and handover stages.
• Lead multidisciplinary coordination with Architecture, Process, Mechanical, Electrical, BIM/VDC, Construction, Commercial and Project Management teams.
• Provide technical leadership, resolve complex design and site issues, and mentor engineers and designers to achieve project quality, schedule and cost objectives.
• Prepare, review and evaluate tender packages, technical proposals, scopes of work and bid submissions.
• Lead design reviews, constructability reviews, value engineering and technical risk assessments.
• Coordinate with consultants, Qualified Persons, authorities, contractors and subcontractors on submissions, approvals and technical queries.
• Review shop drawings, method statements, material submissions, RFIs and design changes for civil, precast and structural-steelworks.
• Support site teams on piling, temporary works,substructure, superstructure, precast and steel installation issues.
• Monitor consultant and subcontractor design deliverables and ensure timely closure of comments and actions.
• Support estimating, procurement, change management and technical evaluation where required.
• Maintain technical competence and promote safe, compliant and efficient engineering practices.

Role Purpose:
