Job summary

Exyte seeks a Civil/Structural Design & Construction professional to support industrial facilities projects in Singapore. You will assist project managers, coordinate with architectural, process, MEP disciplines and quantity surveyors, and manage design-related site issues to ensure on-schedule, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• 3–5 years of design and construction experience.
• Experience with industrial buildings, precast and long-span roof trusses is preferred.
• Site experience in piling, sub-structure and super-structure works for reinforced concrete, steel, and precast structures.
• Experience liaising with process, mechanical, electrical disciplines and quantity surveyors.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers to achieve project completion within budget and on schedule and quality.
• Prepare, issue and evaluate tender packages.
• Coordinate with architectural, process, mechanical, electrical disciplines and quantity surveyors.
• Address site issues related to design and liaise with consultants and sub-contractors.
• Ensure timely submissions and approvals from local authorities.
• Maintain familiarity with current practices and engineering trends and remain technically competent.
• Perform ad hoc duties as determined by management.

• Involves in all aspects relating to the Design and Construction Management of all types of Civil and Structural Systems for Industrial Facilities Buildings;


• Assists in the design of Concrete and Steel Structures;

Job Responsibilities

• Assists Project Managers in achieving project completion within budget and on schedule and quality;


• Prepares, Issues and Evaluates Tender packages;

Job Requirement:

• Degree in Civil Engineering


• At least 3 to 5 years of design and construction experience


• Design and Construction experience preferably in industrial buildings with Precast and Long span roof trusses experiences


• Site experience on piling works, Sub-structure and Super structure works for reinforce concrete, Steel structures and Precast structures


• Experience working closely with Process, Mechanical and Electrical disciplines and Quantity surveyor


• Experience of liaise with consultants and contractors


• Experience with checking of shop drawings for Precast and steel structures and


• Element design based on codal requirements


• Knowledge of Structural design software STAAD-Pro, Prokon, Orion and etc (if any)
