Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Singapore leads a multi‑billion‑dollar renewable energy and transmission project, including Solar PV, BESS, and interconnector works. The Lead Document Controller will establish and manage document control, information governance and handover documentation across EPC/EPCI contractors, regulators and project stakeholders.

You will administer the EDMS platforms, ensure metadata and revision control, and provide oversight for turnover packages and operations readiness,

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in document control and information management on major capital projects.
• 5+ years in a Lead Document Controller or Document Control Manager role.
• Strong understanding of EPC/EPCI documentation requirements.
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise EDMS platforms and information governance processes.
• Experience in renewable energy and high‑voltage transmission projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project’s Document Control and Information Management function.
• Develop and implement document control procedures, standards, workflows, and governance requirements.
• Establish consistent document management practices across all project stakeholders and workstreams.
• Manage and mentor the document control team.
• Act as the primary PMC focal point for document and information management matters.
• Establish, administer, and optimize the EDMS and system configurations.
• Monitor document status, revisions, and distribution across packages.
• Coordinate document management across Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning.
