Job summary

HOCK LIAN SENG INFRASTRUCTURE PTE. LTD.d in Singapore is seeking a Construction Manager to lead daily site operations, coordinating C&S, Architectural, M&E and external trades to meet safety, schedule and budget targets.

You will ensure conformance with drawings, specifications and Singapore regulations, manage subcontractors, monitor progress, and drive quality through proactive problem solving and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building or related discipline.
• Relevant construction site management experience with a Main Contractor.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, site coordination, subcontractor management, quality and WSH requirements.
• Familiarity with Singapore construction regulations and authority requirements.
• Strong leadership, planning, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations, including C&S, Architectural, M&E and external works.
• Ensure construction activities follow drawings, specifications, method statements and sequences.
• Coordinate site resources, work fronts, equipment and construction logistics.
• Monitor construction progress against the master programme and project milestones.
• Prepare look-ahead programmes and coordinate daily and weekly targets.
• Identify delays, resolve site constraints and implement recovery measures.
• Coordinate engineers, supervisors, foremen and subcontractors.
• Monitor manpower, productivity, workmanship and subcontractor performance.
• Ensure sufficient manpower, materials and equipment are available to meet project targets.
• Coordinate with consultants, QPs, PEs and relevant parties on inspections and compliance requirements.
• Support statutory inspections and TOP/CSC-related completion requirements.
• Attend site meetings and report progress, risks and outstanding issues to the Project Manager.
