Job summary

SAS Engineering & Construction Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced Construction Supervisor to plan, manage and supervise daily activities, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery in line with drawings and specs.

You will coordinate manpower, subcontractors, materials, and equipment, review drawings, conduct site inspections, enforce safety, and report progress at meetings.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent recognized qualification.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and supervise daily construction activities to ensure safe, timely completion aligned with approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate and monitor site operations, including manpower, subcontractors, suppliers, materials, equipment, and machinery to optimize workflow.
• Review construction drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and project requirements before and during site execution to ensure compliance.
• Monitor project progress against schedules and implement corrective actions to prevent delays.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, Consultants, Architects, subcontractors, and clients to resolve site-related issues and align project goals.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify workmanship quality and adherence to project and regulatory standards.
• Enforce compliance with workplace safety, health, and environmental regulations throughout construction activities.
• Attend site, progress, and coordination meetings to provide accurate project status updates.
• Identify and resolve technical, construction, manpower, and operational challenges on site to maintain project momentum.
• Plan manpower deployment and ensure efficient utilization of labor, materials, equipment, and other resources.
• Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure adherence to approved schedules and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate site documentation, including daily progress records, inspection reports, and other project-related records.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, rectification works, and project handover activities to ensure smooth transitions.
• Maintain good housekeeping, site discipline, and compliance with company and project safety procedures.
