Job summary

Global Placements seeks a senior Civil Engineering professional to lead contractor teams on MRT line construction and upgrade projects in Singapore. You will ensure safety, quality, schedule progress, and stakeholder engagement while guiding risk and cashflow planning along with instructions and variation assessments.

The role requires a recognised civil engineering degree, 5+ years of MRT/rail or tunnelling experience, and strong PM, English communication and leadership abilities to drive

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised institution.
• 5+ years of MRT/metro/railway project experience or tunnel construction expertise.
• Civil engineering experience in high-rise buildings or viaduct construction.
• Strong PM and leadership, with effective English communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead role managing contractors in construction of new MRT lines and enhancements.
• Oversee safety, quality, progress, stakeholder management and environmental impact.
• Assist planning and management of contract risks and cashflows, and issue instructions.
• Assess variations, payments and claims.
