Job summary

Public Service Division is seeking a Senior/Executive/Project Engineer, Electrical/Mechanical Services to lead Building Services Contractors for underground MRT stations. You will oversee safety, quality and progress of contractor works and assist project managers in planning cashflows and issuing instructions.

You will coordinate with project teams, civil and electrical works interfaces, designers, architects, stakeholders and the Railway Operator to ensure timely and well-coordinated delivery

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
• Relevant working experience in large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Good appreciation of the constraints and interface requirements of civil, electrical works.
• Strong project management and leadership skills with proven track records.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Team player who is analytical, resourceful and result-oriented.
• Able to perform occasional night works including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead role in managing Building Services Contractors in underground MRT stations.
• Manage safety, quality and progress of the Contractors’ works.
• Assist Project Managers in planning cashflows and issuing instructions, and assessment of variations/payments/claims.
• Liaise with project teams, system wide and civil contractors, designers, architects, stakeholders and Railway Operator to ensure well-coordinated projects.
