Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) seeks a Deputy Director, Bus Information Systems to lead planning, development, implementation, and operations of mission-critical bus information systems supporting Singapore's public bus network. This includes fleet management, passenger information, data analytics, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in ICT, transportation technology, systems engineering, digital transformation, or related fields, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience leading multidisciplinary teams and large-scale technology programmes.
• Good understanding of system architecture, software delivery, data configuration, data analytics, cloud technologies, and technology governance.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions.
• Experience in public transport systems, operational technology, will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of bus information systems supporting public transport operations.
• Drive the digital transformation of bus operations through the adoption of emerging technologies.
• Establish and maintain technology roadmaps, system architectures, and operational standards.
• Lead vendor, contract, and stakeholder management activities.
• Oversee cybersecurity governance and compliance for OT and IT systems.
• Direct the management of system operations, incident response, and business continuity planning.
• Use data to drive performance monitoring and continuous improvement across bus operations.
