SHAFTRISE ENGINEERING & SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a Mechanical Technician to join our team.

This hands-on role focuses on precision measurement, laser alignment, and ensuring equipment meets dimensional specs on marine and industrial projects. You will learn under senior technicians and surveyors, perform field surveys, generate reports using CAD/3D software, and help maintain specialized measuring tools while coordinating with engineers and construction teams to uphold safety and quality

Qualifications

Demonstrated spatial awareness and ability to read engineering drawings or CAD concepts.
Willingness to learn surveying technologies with on-the-job training.
Physically fit for field operations and good communication with teams.

Responsibilities

Hands-On Equipment Alignment: Learn and apply laser alignment technologies to align pumps, motors, engines, gearboxes, and marine systems.
Dimensional Control & Inspection: Perform field dimensional control surveys and fit-up inspections on structures and piping components.
Data Processing & Reporting: Capture survey data and generate reports using CAD/3D software for client submissions.
Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate precision measuring tools and instruments.
Cross-Functional Teamwork: Coordinate with project engineers, construction teams, and clients to meet specs and safety protocols.
