Job summary

Lasertec Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Engineer to join our maintenance team, providing technical support to customers on-site or remotely, performing repairs and troubleshooting, and installing new test machines and software upgrades.

You will develop manuals and SOPs, work in a customer-facing role in the semiconductor industry, travel overseas frequently on short notice, and be flexible to work selected weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electronics or Mechatronics or related qualifications.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
• Work experience in a customer support environment.
• Work experience in a semiconductor industry for more than 3 years.
• Knowledge in laser, oscilloscope/spectrum analyzer or other instruments.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an Engineer to join our team.

In this role, your responsibilities are to:

• Provide technical support to customers either on-site or remotely.
• Perform repair works and troubleshoot machines at customer site.
• Install new test machines and software upgrades.
• Develop manuals and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for machines.

This role requires you to:

• Have a Diploma/Degree in Electronics or Mechatronics or related qualifications.
• Have intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Words.
• Have work experience in a customer support environment.
• Have work experience in a semiconductor industry for more than 3 years.
