Ascentium Company in Singapore is seeking a proactive Learning & Development Intern to support training coordination, learning administration, and talent development initiatives within People & Culture.

You will assist with organizing learning programmes, maintaining records, LMS tasks, and preparing materials, while collaborating with stakeholders and vendors to ensure smooth delivery of L&D activities.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in HR, Psychology, BA, L&D, or related field.
  • Strong interest in employee learning and development initiatives.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple timelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to coordinate with staff and trainers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Comfortable handling data, trackers, feedback forms, and learning records.
  • Able to work independently while collaborating within a team.
  • Creative and curious, with willingness to contribute ideas.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate learning programmes, workshops, onboarding sessions, and employee development initiatives.
  • Assist with training logistics: scheduling, room/virtual setup, attendance tracking, invites.
  • Maintain training records, learning trackers, attendance reports, and post-training summaries.
  • Prepare learning materials, decks, communications, guides, and programme resources.
  • Assist in formulating and updating the Talent Playbook and related templates.
  • Provide admin support for performance management activities, including calibration support and follow-up actions.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, trainers, and external vendors for smooth delivery.
  • Assist Learning Management System administration: course setup, enrolment support, data updates, learner queries.
  • Compile learning, talent, and performance data; prepare reports on participation, completion, feedback, and effectiveness.
  • Support employee engagement and capability-building initiatives led by People & Culture.

Job description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Learning & Development Intern to support training coordination, learning administration, talent development initiatives, and performance management activities within the People & Culture function. This role will assist with organising learning programmes, maintaining training records, supporting the formulation of the Talent Playbook, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors, and contributing to the smooth delivery of L&D and talent initiatives across the organisation.

This role sits within the People & Culture department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the coordination and administration of learning programmes, workshops, onboarding sessions, and employee development initiatives.
  • Assist with training logistics, including scheduling, room or virtual meeting setup, attendance tracking, calendar invites, and participant communications.
  • Maintain accurate training records, learning trackers, attendance reports, and post-training feedback summaries.
  • Support the preparation and formatting of learning materials, presentation decks, communications, guides, and programme resources.
  • Assist in formulating and maintaining the Talent Playbook, including consolidating inputs, organising content, documenting talent processes, and supporting updates to related templates and materials.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support for performance management activities, including timeline tracking, communications, documentation, calibration support, and follow-up actions.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, trainers, and external vendors to ensure smooth programme delivery.
  • Assist with Learning Management System administration, including course setup, enrolment support, data updates, and learner queries where applicable.
