Job summary

MYT F&B HOLDINGS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the kitchen team with ingredient prep, stock control, and meal assembly, ensuring smooth service and food safety compliance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning food to support meal preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen areas, workstations, utensils, and equipment to meet food safety standards.
• Wash dishes, kitchen tools, and cooking equipment promptly to ensure availability during service.
• Store food and ingredients properly following food safety guidelines to preserve quality and prevent contamination.
• Receive, check, and organize stock deliveries to maintain accurate inventory and kitchen readiness.
• Replenish kitchen supplies and alert supervisors when stock levels are low to avoid shortages.
• Dispose of waste responsibly and keep the kitchen environment clean and organized for safety and efficiency.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations consistently to ensure a safe working environment.
• Support the kitchen team during meal preparation and service to maintain smooth operations.
• Perform other duties assigned by the team leader as needed to assist kitchen functions
