  • Coordinate with Recruiting/Talent Team to hire kitchen staff and support training on SOPs.
  • Maintain shift reports, checklists, and hand-off communications between shifts.
  • Drive continuous improvement using LEAN or Kaizen principles and report issues.

Hiring for New Chick-fil-A Location!

We are looking for a Kitchen Manager for our new Fast Food Restaurant. Candidate must be good at motivating a team, ensuring standards of excellence and have at least 2 years of Fast Food leadership or training experience.

Job Scope includes the following:
  • Reports directly to the Director of Operations and executes daily operational objectives.
  • Support Chick-fil-A's New Location's strategy to achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Always ensure full implementation of Food Safety requirements.
  • Perform daily truck/supply ordering; monitor and alert on shortages.
  • Receive and store inventory per Receiving Quality Standards
  • Inspect the prior shift's operations for quality and resolve any issues.
  • Coordinate with the Scheduling Team to ensure proper staffing for shifts.
  • Assist Talent Team with recruiting top kitchen talent.
  • Coach the team through SOP training and certification
  • Ensure key production supplies (e.g., thawed chicken, buns, produce) are available.
  • Communicate essential hand-off details to the next shift.
  • Produce and file daily shift setup, break tracking, and assignment sheets.
  • Complete and submit daily shift performance reports accurately.
  • Drive smooth and effective operations to meet Customer Satisfaction targets.
  • Set and pursue shift-specific Customer Satisfaction goals: Taste, Speed, Temperature,Accuracy, Cleanliness.
  • Adhere to food cost goals by minimizing waste and inefficiencies.
  • Manage labour costs through scheduling and productivity oversight.
  • Ensure compliance with SFA, workplace safety and labor regulations.
  • Uphold proper use, cleaning, and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance and report malfunctions.
  • Foster FOH-BOH collaboration for holistic business success
  • Ensure all cleaning and operational tasks are completed in Jolt or assigned systems.
  • Document and raise shift challenges, needs, and wins.
  • Maintain a safe environment, manage access, and respond to emergencies.
  • Keep the trash areas clean
  • Lead continuous improvement using LEAN or Kaizen principles.
  • Be available to address urgent operational needs as required.
  • Train team on Operational Requirement Guide, SOPs
  • Complete Daily Safe Critical checklists
  • Provide training across all BOH stations and hold the team accountable.
  • Ensure the timely completion of all BOH checklists and reports.
  • Perform all responsibilities expected of a BOH team member
  • Any other tasks that might be assigned as the business grows
