Job summary

Bachmann Japanese Restaurant Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a reliable kitchen assistant focused on dishwashing and general cleanliness. You will wash dishes, maintain the dishwashing area, and assist in cleaning and storage tasks.

The role supports daily kitchen operations under the Chef’s guidance and requires adherence to SOPs and safety rules. We value team players who can work split shifts, weekends, and holidays, and who are physically fit to handle manual tasks in a warm, oily, and humid

Qualifications

• Ability to perform split shifts and work on weekends and public holidays.
• Physically fit to do manual tasks.
• Able to operate the dishwasher machine.
• Able to work in a team as well as independently.
• Able to work in a warm, oily and humid environment.
• Maintain good food hygiene and follow dishwasher SOP.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, pots or pan.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, equipment and utensil.
• Place clean dishes, utensil or cooking equipment in storage area.
• Throw rubbish at designated area.
• Clean trash bin.
• Assist in cooking, deep frying by following the recipe.
• Assist to collect the soiled dishes from dining area and send to kitchen for cleaning.
• Perform other job duties as requested by Chef.
• Follow company safety SOP and wear safety equipment while working in the kitchen.
