Job summary

Well Established Japanese F&B Company in Singapore is seeking a full-time kitchen backup/cook to assist in food preparation and maintain high hygiene and quality standards. The role requires preparing equipment, measuring ingredients, and ensuring consistent cooking practices while controlling costs.

Working location is Central / East with 5.5 working days per week. Salary for full-time is up to SGD 3,000 plus incentives and a variable bonus; part-time offers SGD 14 per hour.

Qualifications

• GCE N Level or above.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in similar role.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the kitchen and food preparation.
• Prepare equipment for the cooking process.
• Weigh, measure and mix ingredients according to recipes.
• Maintain a high standard of all food preparation and service in the kitchen according to the required standards.
• Ensure accurate and consistent cook practice and presentation.
• Ensure the kitchen areas are clean, tidy and organized.
• Ensure proper hygiene practices based on Food & Beverages Safety and Hygiene policies.
• Responsible in controlling cost and minimize food wastages.
