About the role

Kartia Pte. Ltd. is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Cook to join our culinary team on a part-time basis. This role is based in Lorong Chuan, North-East Region, and offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment. As a Kitchen Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering consistently high-quality meals and maintaining the operational excellence that defines our establishment. This position is perfect for experienced cooks looking for flexible working arrangements whilst contributing to a professional kitchen team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes, plating standards and quality guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your assigned station and kitchen equipment
• Ensure food safety and hygiene protocols are followed at all times, including proper food handling and storage procedures
• Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of meals
• Assist with food preparation, portioning and presentation to meet company standards
• Monitor stock levels and communicate ingredient requirements to management
• Adapt quickly to kitchen demands and adjust priorities based on service requirements
• Contribute to maintaining a professional and collaborative kitchen environment

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as a Kitchen Cook or similar culinary role in a professional kitchen environment
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, with relevant certifications preferred
• Proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining quality standards
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to commit to a consistent part-time schedule
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle kitchen duties
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food preparation
• Experience in a similar hospitality or food service establishment is advantageous
