Job summary

Wecruit Pte Ltd is seeking a kitchen assistant in Singapore. You will support the cook and kitchen team with daily food preparation and meal service, helping ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to high standards.

The role emphasizes hygiene and safety, including cleaning utensils and surfaces, checking ingredients, storing supplies, and reporting any concerns to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Assist with basic food preparation, including washing, cutting, peeling and portioning ingredients.
• Support the cook and kitchen team with daily food preparation and meal service.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, food preparation areas and dining areas.
• Wash and clean kitchen utensils, cookware, equipment and work surfaces after use.
• Assist with receiving, checking, storing and organising food ingredients and kitchen supplies.
• Check the condition and freshness of food ingredients and report any concerns to the supervisor.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures at all times.
• Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
