Job summary

Club Chinois in Singapore is seeking kitchen staff to assist in ingredient prep, washing, and organization of kitchen storage. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring cleanliness and readiness of cooking surfaces and tools.

Ideal candidates have proven kitchen experience, knowledge of cooking methods and equipment, and a positive, learning mindset. Split shifts and weekends/public holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Proven kitchen experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
• Ability to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Physical stamina to stand long periods.
• Willingness to learn and passion for food.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of meal ingredients: washing, cleaning, peeling, cutting, chopping fruit, vegetables, poultry and meat.
• Stir and heat soups and sauces.
• Wash and store cooking appliances, utensils, cutting boards, and dishes.
• Organize and store food supplies properly in kitchen, cold room and storeroom.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Company.
