Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a dedicated kitchen helper to provide day-to-day support in food preparation and meal service, ensuring smooth kitchen operations.

You will wash, cut, portion ingredients, assist with serving, and help maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all workspaces, complying with safety procedures.

This on-site role offers opportunities to work closely with a busy kitchen team and contribute to high-quality meals for guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to the kitchen team in food preparation and meal service activities.
• Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, cutting, portioning and other prep tasks.
• Assist with preparation and serving of meals according to procedures.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen areas.
• Clean and sanitise utensils, cookware, equipment and work surfaces after use.
• Support receiving, checking, storage and organisation of food ingredients and kitchen supplies.
• Monitor the condition and freshness of ingredients and report any concerns to the supervisor.
• Follow established food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures.
• Support other kitchen and food service activities as reasonably assigned by the supervisor.
