Job summary

Wecruit Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a kitchen support role to assist the team with preparing ingredients, washing, cutting and basic food preparation for daily operations. You will help with plating, serving when required, and maintain cleanliness and safety across all work areas.

Additionally, you will check the freshness of ingredients, store supplies properly, report quality issues, and comply with hygiene, food safety and workplace safety standards; EA License No: 20C0270.

Responsibilities

• Support the kitchen team in preparing ingredients and food items for daily operations.
• Assist with washing, cutting, portioning and other basic food preparation tasks.
• Assist cooks with meal preparation, plating and serving as required.
• Keep kitchen areas, utensils, equipment and work surfaces clean and hygienic.
• Wash, clean and properly store kitchen utensils, cookware and equipment.
• Assist in receiving and organising food supplies and ensure ingredients are stored appropriately.
• Check food ingredients for freshness and quality and promptly report any issues.
• Comply with food hygiene, food safety and workplace safety requirements.
• Carry out other duties related to kitchen operations as assigned.
