Job summary

HKM HR Management Pte. Ltd. in Bedok, Singapore is seeking a reliable Kitchen Assistant for a 6-day work week. You will assist in food prep, support production, and ensure quality and timely delivery of dishes in a central kitchen environment.

Requirements include catering/central kitchen experience, a food hygiene certificate, and strict adherence to SOPs. OT is compensated after hours; night/weekend shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering and central kitchen is required.
• Food hygiene certificate is mandatory.
• Able to work in a central kitchen environment with SOP adherence.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of food according to recipes and dietary requirements.
• Support in food production, stock and quality control.
• Assist in food preparation in all areas and maintain cleanliness of work stations and equipment.
• Deliver food items on time with consistent standards and presentation.
• Possibly perform various cooking methods (e.g., high-volume wok dishes).
• Monitor inventory, place orders, minimize wastage, and manage portion sizes.
