Job summary

NEXTBEAT SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is hiring a Kitchen Assistant to help with basic food prep, packaging, and stock management at Bedok MRT.

The role requires a positive attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Flexible for weekends, holidays, and shift schedules, with 44 hours per week across 4 days. You will assist with takeaway orders, maintain cleanliness, and support opening/closing duties under supervision.

Qualifications

• No experience required; kitchen or F&B experience is an advantage.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to stand for long hours and carry light to moderate loads.
• Team player with good attitude and willingness to learn.
• Able to work weekends, public holidays, and shift schedules where required.
• Need to support other outlet when assigned

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients such as washing, cutting, peeling, portioning, and packing.
• Assist with basic food preparation according to recipes, SOPs, and kitchen instructions.
• Portion, assemble, and pack food orders accurately.
• Refill ingredients, sauces, packaging materials, and kitchen supplies.
• Receive and check incoming stock and assist with inventory counts.
• Maintain cleanliness of food preparation areas, kitchen equipment, utensils, and storage areas.
• Wash trays, containers, crockery, and kitchen tools as required.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Support opening and closing duties.
• Assist with takeaway and delivery order packing.
• Carry out any other kitchen-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

• 44 hours per week
• Rostered shifts based on operational needs
