Job summary

Private Advertiser in Singapore seeks a senior sommelier to lead day-to-day wine service at our exclusive club. You will supervise the Wine team, drive service standards and coordinate with the Kitchen and Operations to pair wines with menus.

You will develop the wine list, conduct tastings, manage cellar stock and train staff. The role requires extensive Sommelier experience and recognised wine qualifications. Strong member relationships and personalised recommendations are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive sommelier experience in premium hospitality.
• Advanced international wine and service knowledge.
• Wine team leadership and cellar/inventory experience.
• Recognised professional wine qualification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily wine service across the Club.
• Allocate Wine team responsibilities based on reservations, PDRs and events.
• Maintain high standards of wine presentation, glassware, decanting and temperature.
• Develop strong member relationships and personalised recommendations.
• Support the Head of Wine with wine-list development, tasting and purchasing.
• Monitor cellar organisation, stock levels, availability and high-value wines.
• Lead Sommeliers and conduct briefings, wine training and coaching.
• Host/support tastings, dinners and member wine events.
• Work closely with Kitchen on pairings and Operations on service.
• Resolve wine-service issues professionally.
