Job summary

Talent Trader Group Pte Ltd is seeking a field service engineer to service scientific instruments at customer sites across Singapore. You will install, calibrate, maintain, and repair instruments, and train end-users including scientists and engineers.

You will address technical inquiries, build long-term client relationships, and identify opportunities for preventive maintenance contracts. Prior experience with analytical instruments and strong troubleshooting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years (Junior level) or 4+ years (Senior level) of experience servicing scientific or analytical instrumentation.
• Technical familiarity with analytical instruments such as Particle Size Analyzers, XRF, Spectroscopy, or ICP systems is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage field service schedules efficiently.
• Customer‑oriented, self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work independently at customer locations.
