Job summary

REGTECH INSIGHT PTE. LTD. is seeking a PMO Coordinator to monitor and report on project status, timelines, deliverables, budget, and resources for data engineering initiatives within the banking sector.

The role focuses on ensuring successful delivery, risk tracking, and regulatory alignment. You will maintain standard PMO docs, coordinate between data engineering teams, product owners, and business stakeholders, and support both Agile and Waterfall workflows using Jira, Confluence, MS Project,

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of PMO or Project Coordination experience.
• Conceptual knowledge of Data Engineering concepts (ETL, data warehousing).
• Proficiency with project management tools including Jira, Confluence, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, or Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on project status, timelines, deliverables, budget, and resources for Data Engineering projects.
• Maintain and update standard PMO documentation (RAID logs, status reports, change requests, meeting minutes).
• Coordinate between technical data engineering teams, product owners, and business stakeholders.
• Support Agile ceremonies and Waterfall activities using Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and Power BI.
• Assist in tracking project budgets, invoices, resource utilization, and vendor metrics.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal governance frameworks relevant to banking.

Job description

Project Tracking & Governance:

• Monitor and report on project status, timelines, deliverables, budget, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery of Data Engineering projects.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain and update standard PMO documentation, including RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), status reports, change requests, and meeting minutes to support project transparency.

Stakeholder Coordination:

• Serve as the central liaison between technical data engineering teams, product owners, and business stakeholders to facilitate clear communication and alignment.

Agile & Waterfall Facilitation:

• Support Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and project status reviews using tools like Jira, Confluence, and MS Project to enhance team productivity.

Financial & Resource Management:

• Assist in tracking project budgets, invoices, resource utilization, and vendor engagement metrics to support financial oversight and resource planning.

Compliance & Governance:

• Ensure all data engineering initiatives comply with regulatory, compliance, and internal governance frameworks relevant to the banking industry.

Required competencies and certifications

• 2–4 years of PMO or Project Coordination experience.
• Conceptual knowledge of Data Engineering concepts such as ETL pipelines, data warehousing, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and data governance.
• Proficiency with project management tools including Jira, Confluence, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, or Power BI.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Prior experience working in Banking, Financial Services, or Fintech environments.
