HubSpot for Startups is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead the JAPAC partner ecosystem. You will own relationships with Tier 1 accelerators, incubators, and VCs across Singapore, Australia, and Southeast Asia, shaping regional program strategy and partner engagement.

You’ll drive KPI-focused performance, expand portfolio penetration, and collaborate with regional sales and marketing teams to deliver impactful startup experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business development, partnerships, or strategic sales, JAPAC experience preferred.
• Deep knowledge of JAPAC accelerator, incubator, and VC landscape.
• Proven track record of building high-value external relationships.
• Comfortable using AI tools to improve productivity and data organisation.
• Data-driven mindset: translate partner activity into pipeline metrics.
• Executive presence and strong communication in diverse environments.
• Experience in global, cross-functional teams and influencing without authority.
• Organised and proactive with a large partner portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Own the JAPAC partner ecosystem end-to-end, managing Tier 1 accelerators, incubators, and VC relationships.
• Drive program performance with clear KPIs for JAPAC: leads and new customers.
• Represent HubSpot for Startups at key industry events and in founder communities across JAPAC.
• Design and execute in-region activation formats: workshops, in-person networking, webinars, and hackathons.
• Develop partner engagement plans to deepen portfolio penetration and accountability.
• Manage the JAPAC program budget, campaigns, and spend tracking against outcomes.
• Educate startup founders on growth strategy including sales, marketing, fundraising, and AI-powered GTM approaches.
• Coordinate with JAPAC sales, marketing, and CSM teams for seamless partner experiences.
